Pokémon Day 2025

Do you hear that? Is that battle music, I hear? Fresh onto the new year, we’ll be celebrating Pokémon Day! The day, Pocket Monsters Red and Green were released. February, 27th 1996 in Japan. Two years later, the rest of the world made one of the most important decisions in their lives. A decision so tough, that it’s even become a tradition for new families to start at the earliest days of one’s youth now. 

The celebration has already gotten a small start.

A free flying-type tera Eevee w/classic ribbon is available in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. You’ll have to reach a participating retailer such as Best Buy (US), GameStop(US and Canada), Toys “R” Us(Canada), and EB Games(Australia and New Zealand).

To claim your in-game gift, follow these steps:

1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
2. Select Poké Portal on the X menu.
3. Select Mystery Gift, then select Get with Code/Password to connect to the internet.
4. Enter your code.
5. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. (Pokémon will appear in your party or your Pokémon Boxes.)
6. Be sure to save your game.
7. Have fun reaching new heights with Eevee this Pokémon Day, Trainers!

Another joyful news we can look forward to is a new anime announcement. Dragonite and the Mailman, which was announced by Comix Wave Films. Known for the fantastic work of Makoto Shinkai, who brings some fantastic storytelling with strong animations to back it up. It’ll be readily available to everyone on the official Pokémon Channel. 

Speculation around the globe that we’ll be getting more news about the next installment of the series. It’s well known the release will be in 2025, and what better way to deliver any news in regards to Pokémon Legends Z-A then Pokémon Day!
