Valve clearing the Steam
Valve has been on a roll lately, looking out for the community. We recently got a major change to the storefront. It’s been a struggle for many believing in a game. Investing in an early access game, only for it to have no changes for months to years. Valve has finally stepped in and given us a fair warning on whether a game is still in active development or has been long forgotten.
Just yesterday, on February 10th, 2025. Valve has updated a ruling that’s been in effect for many years already. It must’ve not been clear enough or overlooked enough. That it’s gotten a new active place in the Steamworks Documentation Where it’s clearly available for all to see now. It’s to make sure it’s known that Valve does not uphold a paid advertisement to pay system. It’s clearly making sure that developers don’t try and bring in the mobile gaming systems to this platform. That just seems like the obvious opinion for this to get a better availability to be seen. However you might want to look at this. It’s nice to know they have some good intentions preventing this predatory system.
