Marvel Rivals Promo Mystery has been Solved?

Although the answer is still a bit of a mystery, it’s safe to say that the skin will not be Red Hulk as so many believed it would have been. That misleading information had already been debunked early on, through the Dev’s hosting a Discord AMA. The two above from the last answers on the recap are as mentioned.

Uniqueness is an important element in character selection; similar characters are unlikely, and the value in premiere skins that lay these characters over top of existing ones (example given: Beta Ray Bill over Thor) is questioned when compared to applying that same workload to a different task

Other sets of similar characters (examples given: Agatha and Wanda, Peter Parker and Miles Morales) will never be considered for such a scenario as they are just too different

This now leads us to the promo itself. I think most if not all had expectations that the mystery costume given through the promo was going to be new and an obvious tie-in to the movie. With the movie drawing closer to its theatrical release, more promotional mentions were available. This one is coming from Marvel Rivals themselves. On the surface, this doesn’t help us with any new information. It’s only once you take a look closer in the comments section. Thanks to the user LEO_860, asking what we all wanted to know.

I can’t speak for everyone on this matter. Myself, I feel like it’s a huge tease and upset. Yes, we get two exclusive movie tie-in items for our collections. But we’re also left with the gamble at the hands of RNG. No real results or further information has been gathered to say whether or not this might include skins behind pay or past events. We’re left in the dark at this point.

I feel like regardless, we’re still going to see the movie. Meaning we still walk away with something. They’ve been willing to listen and change their minds based on fan opinions. We could see some different results within the next few days. Only time will tell, I suppose. What about you?
