The silent mmorpg

First off, I will say. I thought this was just going to be a fun and interesting take on an rpg from the 64 days. It has that vibe, and it’s still in early access. So it has a lot of room for improvements and additions. I honestly just picked it up, thinking it’d be a nice nostalgia trip. I didn’t really take notice of the character designs at first glance. And in the fine print it does mention that it’s a mature game. Although it is mature, it’s not over the top that you wouldn’t be able to stream it or have fun with some little ones around.

It offers a good bit of customization to your character, currently offering a small handful of races and body options to stand out. I hope they’ll continue to add more to this. It never hurts to have more of these to stand out. I don’t want to over focus what is offered in customization. You’ll just have to take the time to visit the page yourself and see what’s being offered. This can be seen as a personal interest to most. It’s not exactly a selling point for me and I don’t want to endure it as a main point of interest to others.

At this time of writing, you have the choice of 3 classes to start with. Another hope of additional in the future. Choices are fighter, mystic, and bandit. Fighter class has melee, heavy melee, and pole arms, Mystic’s use scepters and bells, Bandit’s use katars and bows as weapons of choice. Each class can swap between 2 of the weapon choices while fighting. There are obviously base stats to fiddle with, along with what armor can add. There are many options to figure out a good style for you and your class.

Also worth a mention, with the class choice. You have skills connected to each. With the Bandit class, I was able to play around with traps and poisons. Mystic has you deal with support and magic abilities, and finally Fighters were of course the melee and raw damage types. Leveling gives you more options of what’s available and you can also begin to level up the skills you find most interesting. You’ll also start to earn masteries for the weapons you handle. Obviously, some wearable gear is to be sought too. It has some customization as you can dye, and even transmog favored pieces. What more can you ask for, cause glam is the true end game!

I will add, a great aspect of this game is that you are capable of playing with others, whether you want to play with the community or just hang out with your friends. You also have the option to join others for the dungeons, up to 4 players total. The community has been pretty light, and if you do manage to find some rambling you dislike, again just hang with your friends privately.

I’ve had a blast chasing gear. Grinding for better skills. The overall systems remind me of Diablo and has me drowning in memories of the popori from Tera. I think people will really enjoy this game and all that it has to offer. Lots to look forward to. Something I think should be mentioned is, this game is developed by one person. Kiseff deserves some praise for not only delivering a fantastic nostalgic game. Going over the top on what’s being provided, and also offering a somewhat demo through the itch.io site. It’s not the full version that can be found over on Steam. I hope people give it a chance, demo or goin in full on early access.
