Monster Hunter Wilds 7th Trailer

The February 12th Monster Hunter Wilds 7th Trailer takes a different turn then the previous ones. This one feels more like a game launch trailer since it show cases gameplay and battles of each of the new monsters right away.

New Apex Predator

Shortly after that we’re greeted with a new apex monster, Jin Dahaad! He fights the hunters, showcasing a bunch of his awesome ice moves as the hunter tries to take on this new apex foe.

Rathalos Returns – But Different?!

After a bunch of dialog and cutscenes from the various villagers and NPC teammates, we’re finally shown Rathalos for the first time, although there’s something different about him. He has a blue-ish glow to him and seems much more aggressive!

Even more exciting combat with the various new and returning monsters throughout the new trailer, showcasing not only the monsters and how to fight them, but a bunch of the different weapon dispatching the monsters.

Blue-ish Glow Arkveld??

Nearing the end of the video, we see Arkveld coming to attack the hunters, with the same blue-ish glow to him like Rathalos had earlier in the video. I wonder if this is a new type of disease or something that effects monsters and enrages them in some way, because we’ve had Frenzy back in Monster Hunter 4U and Qurio in Monster Hunter Rise:Sunbreak previously.

Mitzusune Coming Early Spring!

Finally to top off the video we’re shown a brief glimpse at Mitzusune coming in the first free patch coming to Monster Hunter Wilds in early Spring, i’m assuming the first couple weeks after the game releases.

We’re also given a short roadmap, with more details pending to come within the next weeks leading up to the release of Monster Hunter Wilds.

Super exciting stuff, can’t wait to get another crack at some hunting later tonight and this weekend with the final Open Beta Test 2.
